A New Beginning

To my All Are Welcome Here family and friends,

In 2016, a rainbow of welcome escaped from my basement and went viral. Eight years later, this simple but powerful message is proudly displayed throughout my home state of Minnesota, across the country, and around the world.

Throughout this project, I have had the pleasure of meeting so many caring, compassionate people who want to do the right thing and do right by each other. Together, we've raised almost $120,000 for causes working to build a more welcoming world.

All Are Welcome Here has been an amazing, inspiring experience. However, it has been a lot of work to keep it all going as a one-woman rainbow with a separate freelance design business, family, and other personal projects. Like many of you, I have struggled with anxiety, fatigue, and burnout. A change is needed.

After serving our community in this way, I'm ready for new adventures and opportunities to build a more welcoming world. As a result, I have decided to suspend the All Are Welcome Here campaign after the 2024 election. Everything on the website is 50% off until Sunday, November 10, when I will close the online store.

While All Are Welcome Here will no longer sell merchandise in-person at events or online through our website, the message and the rainbow will continue in a new form. Starting in 2025, the All Are Welcome Here artwork and over 60 translations donated by our community will be available as digital downloads. More details on this will be coming soon.

It was a life-changing honor to be the docent of this vital message. Thank you all for your incredible support and for helping our neighbors, near and far, feel welcome. Remember, "All Are Welcome Here" is not just a slogan on a lawn sign — it's a call to action. Let's keep working together to build a better world and a brighter future!

With gratitude,
Jaime Chismar
